On the occasion of the 2023 Francophonie Festival, the EFIR hosted the “Tell me ten words” art and language competition, which brought six participating schools into competition: Al-Faris, Najd, Ecaf, Dina and Al-Oruba.
Each of the schools participated with 6 representatives for three different school levels: CM2-6eme, middle school and high school.
In total, 30 students took part in the event. Each student created an original work of art and explained its meaning and inspiration to the jury in French. The works were evaluated by a jury composed of a representative of the French embassy and an artist.
In addition to the artistic test, the students also had to demonstrate their French language skills when presenting their work to the jury.
