Madam, Sir, Dear families,

I am pleased to address this message to you as Chairman of the Management Board.
The Management Board is the executive body that has legal and financial responsibility for the EFIR. It develops
the budget and is concerned with maintaining good administrative and financial management, while
improving learning facilities and materials.
It has now been almost a year and a half since we took up our duties and have been involved
for the realization of the ambitious program for which you elected us. This confidence that you have placed in us
have made us obliged and led us to present to you a first annual report of our achievements in
last June.

One of the major projects of our mandate was to carry out the major works within our school,
in order to improve the school environment for our children as well as their safety. This renovation allows
to welcome nearly 1,600 students and strengthens the EFIR identity.
Furthermore, we were committed to improving the well-being of children while promoting
excellence. We have therefore encouraged small class sizes. This allows us to provide a better
supervision of each student by the teacher. We are also in contact with the AEFE to strengthen the
national education staff present at the EFIR. Other requests have been made by your council
management to preserve and strengthen excellence at EFIR.
Thus, under our leadership, the numerous extra-educational activities (more than 14 activities offered) have
the aim of developing the curiosity and creativity of our students, learning about collective life and
citizenship.

In addition, restoring the proper legal and financial functioning of the EFIR was also part of our promises.
Thus, the regularization of the EFIR is on track while we focus on making the
preparation and adoption of the budget.
Our next goals during this school year are the signing of a contract for the construction of a
new school responding to the ever-increasing demand for schooling, with the farm
concern to guarantee a high level of reception and teaching. This contributes to strengthening the
influence of the French language and culture. We also strengthen the personal partnership between students and parents by setting up a friendly association for the educational community.

The priority of your board of directors is that our children have the best possible working tools.

In this context, we responded favorably to the requests of the high school students so that the house of
high school students is being renovated. This MDL helps develop cultural life and gives high school students
the opportunity to get involved in projects, learn about their autonomy and take on responsibilities
important.

Together with the embassy, the management, the various representatives of the parents of students, and those of the
staff, we make EFIR a place of well-being and excellence for all members of the
educational community.
Finally, your management board, representing all families in a spirit of respect and tolerance
remains at your entire disposal for the success of our children.
