Final cycle
The organization of the high school has evolved to prepare for the new baccalaureate. There are no longer series but individualized courses built by the choice of specialty courses. From the start of the 2019 school year, the EFIR offered seven specialty courses:
- History, Geography, Geopolitics and Political Sciences
- Humanities, Literature and Philosophy
- Foreign Languages, Literature and Cultures
- Mathematics
- Chemical Physics
- Life and earth sciences
- Economic and social sciences
The 2021 baccalaureate is based partly on continuous assessment and partly on final exams.
The anticipated written and oral French test takes place at the end of first grade.
In the final year, two written tests relating to specialty courses take place in the spring and two tests take place in June: the written philosophy and the oral prepared throughout the first and final years (terminal cycle).
Continuous assessment is made up of common tests organized during the final cycle.
